 A Computer Consultant Since 1985 was approached (In April of 2000) by a Long Time Client to locate and retain a Hosting Company for a simple website.
After discussing several options, and presenting a list of candidates, a list of qualifications was drafted and each potential hosting company was contacted with the qualifications and requirements. What was discovered was unbelievable, of six (6) hosting companies contacted four (4) never responded and the two (2) that did respond were eliminated for unsatisfactory answers. So the search continued.
"We discovered how confusing the entire hosting industry was. It seemed that every Company had a different list of plans and features. Prices were without any rhyme or reason, and we saw that in order to get desirable features the consumer would have to purchase more space and pay higher prices than they should have to. We did not believe that it was fair to force someone to buy double what they needed to get the features they wanted, especially features that should come with every account."
On May 23, 2001 the name Tanzire was decided upon. The mission statement drafted based on the belief that "It should all make since, and every plan should have the same features."
Since that time, Tanzire has expanded to offer Domain Name Registration Service, by forming Dot-me.com selling Domain Name Services for $12.50 per year, per Domain Name. Far below Network Solutions still current price of $35.00. For the same service.
Future plans for Tanzire currently include expanding into the Internet Service Provider (ISP) arena by offering dial up and DSL connections to the internet on a nationwide scale. As well as wireless Telecommunications, on-line payment processing, and virtual offices.
Every Service Tanzire offers is for the Betterment of Business. As the Wireless Internet evolves clients will be able to log on with their Tanzire nationwide ISP, and manage their website from their laptop computers while at the park.
